Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This notice explains which cookies and similar tools the website medbridge.it uses, for what purposes, and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time. It is provided under Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.
1. Data controller
MedBridge di Alessandro Mazzocchi. Full details of the data controller are in the Privacy policy. Email info@medbridge.it, certified email (PEC) alessandro.mazzocchi@pecaruba.it.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit save on your device, to read them again on later visits. Similar tools are pixels (or web beacons), small pieces of code that record an action, such as visiting a page. In this notice we call them all "cookies".
They are divided into technical cookies, needed for the website to work, for which no consent is required, and statistics and profiling cookies, which are only installed if you accept them.
3. How we manage consent
On your first visit a banner appears and stays visible until you make a choice. You can:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject non-essential cookies: you continue browsing with only the technical cookies the website needs;
- Customise your choice by category. No optional category is pre-selected.
Meta Pixel is not loaded until you consent to marketing. For Google Analytics we use advanced consent mode (Consent Mode v2): until you accept, the tool is loaded with consent "denied", it does not store or read cookies on your device and sends Google only anonymous signals, without identifiers (for example that a page was viewed), which Google uses to estimate visits statistically. If you accept statistics, Google Analytics uses the cookies listed below.
Your choice is remembered for 6 months; during this period the banner will not be shown again, unless the tools used change significantly. You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or from here:
If you withdraw consent, the website deletes the Google and Meta cookies set on the medbridge.it domain and stops loading the related tools.

The names and durations of third-party cookies are set by the respective providers and may change: for the up-to-date list, see their privacy notices.
5. Third parties and data transfer
Third-party cookies are managed directly by the providers, who act as independent controllers or as processors. Privacy notices:

- Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Some data may be transferred to the United States. Google and Meta participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, based on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.
6. Legal basis
Technical cookies are based on the legitimate interest in making the website work (Art. 122(1) Italian Privacy Code). Third-party statistics cookies and profiling cookies are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without consequences for browsing and without affecting what happened before withdrawal.
7. Managing cookies from your browser
As well as from the banner, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. For personalised ads you can also use youronlinechoices.com. Blocking technical cookies may prevent some parts of the website from working properly.
8. Your rights
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing, by writing to info@medbridge.it or by certified email (PEC). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). For all other data processing, see the Privacy policy.
